Stephanie Pym

I serve Kambo with respect and compassion.

My role is to hold a safe and informed container for this powerful medicine. I approach this work with reverence for its Indigenous roots and a deep commitment to proper screening, preparation, and integration — in support of your body’s natural intelligence.

This is some serious medicine. Walking with it has shaped my life in unimaginable ways and it’s an honour and a gift to share its blessings with others.

Nature is the antidote to the chaos and confusion of the modern world. She is the great teacher, the wise healer, and the eternal reminder of our own wild nature. When we return to nature, we reconnect with the deepest parts of ourselves—the parts that are instinctual, intuitive, and inextricably tied to the natural world.

Stef is an intuitive healer in the truest sense. Her ability to hold space is nothing short of beautiful—gentle yet strong, deeply present yet unobtrusive.

Working with her in Kambo has been a profound experience. She brings a level of care and intuition that makes the process feel both sacred and deeply personal. If you're looking for a facilitator who truly understands the depth of this work and meets you with warmth and wisdom, Stef is the one.

The 3-day water detox is truly an experience that shouldn’t be taken lightly, and I’m so incredibly grateful to Stef for her unwavering support, grace, and kindness throughout each day. Her program is clear and well-structured, which made it easy to navigate the detox process. I highly recommend working with Stef if you’re looking for a transformative program to reset your system. It has completely shifted my perspective on food and the choices I make now.

Thank you, Stef, for guiding me through this journey!

As you tap into spiritual practice, and surrender to medicine you may not initially undertand, I think it’s so important to have a practitioner that makes you feel comfortable, to help you tap into your vulnerability, and get the most out of the experience.

Stef has been that support system for me in so many ways, and I’m so grateful for her knowledge & care in helping me with my growth.

  • Scott M.

Stef was the facilitator of my first Kambo ceremonies. The entire process from beginning to end was nothing short of incredible. She showed me how to acknowledge the 'shadow work' that needs to take place. It included engaging myself at a deeper level, facing my demons, and welcoming in healing. There's not a single person who wouldn’t benefit from this work. Whether it's through Kambo, Ayahuasca, yoga, meditation, etc... whatever your (dis)comfort level it will most certainly benefit your life in ways you can’t imagine.

“It is through discomfort and adversity that we can experience profound growth and transformation.”

FAQ’s

  • Kambo is a very safe substance. It’s important to work with a practitioner who holds safety as a top priority and understands the protocols to administer this medicine.

There have been very few fatalities which were not linked to Kambo as the cause, but pre-existing heart conditions and Hyponatremia (drinking too much water).

The protocols and consultation process are in place for a reason and following these has never lead anyone into danger.

Kambo consists of hundreds of bioactive peptides which are recognized by the human body. This means, there is no ‘foreign substance threat’ signals created as a danger in our bodies.

  • There are no psychoactive properties in Kambo. It is a very grounding and physical experience. Some may have memories and insights or see electric bright colours come through but this is rare.

Kambo is still a very spiritual experience and can open up the dreamscape in the nights leading up and following the medicine.

  • The purging can last between 10-30 minutes in waves. You can expect to feel hot & flustered with a rapid heartbeat. Each person’s body is unique and each session will feel a little different but generally the following is what people may experience:

    • Sweating

    • Nausea/Vomiting

    • Diarrhea

    • Tired/Heaviness

    • Burping

    • Crying

    • Shaking

    • Sneezing

    • Yawning

    • Numbness

    • Dizziness

  • After the medicine comes off, your body will need about 20-30 minutes max, and you’ll feel back to normal (or better!)

Some may feel great right after the purge and some may want a little rest, that’s dependent on your body.

  • For a private ceremony, you can expect 2.5 hours. Each person will add about 20-30 minutes to the overall time.

For groups of 5 or less, I will serve each person individually and then move on to the next. It’s important that each person has my full attention and feels held through their experience.

Groups larger than 5 people will serve 2 people at a time and have a space holder with me to assist.

The medicine portion of the ceremony lasts 20-30 minutes per person.
